STREET FOOD WITH AN ASIAN TOUCH!
As the name suggests, their flagship is the fluffy bao buns.
The steamed buns, soft as a cloud, go perfectly with the firmer texture of their varied fillings. There are currently 7 different fillings available, from meat, fish to vegan.
Our favorites are tempura shrimp and breads with shredded beef!
WHAT ARE BAO BUNS?
Bao bun is a traditional Chinese pastry popular throughout Asia and in other parts of the world. It is a soft and fluffy baked pastry, similar to sourdough bread, known for its unique shape and taste.
Pastry is usually made from a simple dough containing ingredients such as wheat flour, water, yeast and sugar. The dough is first kneaded and then left to rise until it becomes soft and airy. When the dough is ready, small balls or slabs are formed and then left to rise again.
Before baking, bao buns are often topped with a small amount of filling, such as meat, vegetables, tofu, or other flavorful additions. Then the pastry is baked in a steam basket or in another way until it becomes fluffy and soft.
In addition to the aforementioned breads, Baohaus offers quite a few other Asian dishes. Juicy gyoza dumplings, ramen soups, Japanese curry with rice.
For the finishing touch, you can also crunch fried sweet potatoes and try refreshing Japanese drinks.
