The Restaurant

A new restaurant awaits you in the old part of Ljubljana, which conjures up a culinary experience with an emphasis on Slovenian and Mediterranean cuisine.
As soon as we entered the door of the restaurant, we were impressed by the touch of modernity and luxury. The space is definitely brightened up by their open oven – the restaurant’s specialty is dishes prepared on an open fire.

The offer is regularly refreshed and adapted to the season and the offer of fresh local ingredients, in The Restaurant you can find both relatively expensive cuts of meat – I would say that quite rightly, pasta, as well as some fish specialties, including crudo, which is hard to find in Ljubljana.

We liked their carbonara, which was really good – brilliant. There is no doubt that the main stars of their restaurant are the dishes prepared on the open oven – the steak was perfectly cooked,
I would highly recommend visiting The Restaurant to all lovers of various steaks.

Their wine list also adapts to the food offering, where there is no shortage of champagne, but otherwise they serve mostly Slovenian labels.

Prices – they are not the lowest, but let’s say they are justified by the selection of quality ingredients, if you can afford to visit a higher-priced restaurant, you will definitely not be disappointed here.
