This time we experienced a Mediterranean-Istrian culinary adventure, in one of the most beautiful Slovenian Istrian villages – Padna, which is about 10 minutes away from Portorož.🚗

The Gold Istra restaurant has opened its doors to everyone who likes local dishes and wine from the Istrian region of Slovenia, and is especially famous for its dishes with truffles and meat grilled over charcoal. You’ve probably all seen various products with truffles under the name Gold Istra, but what we haven’t tried anywhere is beer with truffles, which has a really strong aroma of truffles!🍻

The restaurant has a really strong Istrian touch, gives a feeling of homeliness and impresses with simple dishes and distinct flavors. The next time you are on the coast, Gold Istra is a great excursion point for good fugues with truffles, grilled steak or just a drink with a wonderful view of Slovenian Istria.☺️
