🍽️ New restaurant under Šmarna Gora! 🏞️

📍 Mio Nonno Trattoria, Šmartno 5, Ljubljana

A cozy, freshly renovated space 🌿 where you can indulge in a delicious selection of homemade food and drinks. 🍝🍷

The restaurant “Mio Nonno” – meaning “my grandfather” – is dedicated to the owner’s grandfather, reminding us to spend more time with our beloved elderly family members. 👵👴❤️

They use only high-quality ingredients 🌱, and the menu features dishes typical of Italian trattorias. 🇮🇹

We started dinner with homemade beef pâté with truffles 🍖🍄 and burrata with fresh tomatoes and pesto 🍅🌿. Then, we were captivated by the variety of pasta, risottos, and homemade gnocchi 🍝, as well as the house-made lasagna. We were especially impressed with their excellent Carbonara! 😋

In addition to seafood dishes 🐟, pizzas 🍕, and burgers 🍔, the main dishes include various cuts of meat (beef steak, t-bone, traditional farmer’s feast, beef liver, chicken, veal, homemade goulash, etc.) 🥩🍗. We were convinced by the “Mio Nonno” skillet for two, which features three different cuts of meat in truffle sauce with delicious homemade pljukanci. 🍳🍖✨

Their dough for Neapolitan pizzas is prepared over 8 days, and the result is fantastic! 🍕👌
