Zara wines have grown on land with hundreds of years of tradition by the hardworking hands of the Zara family. They are wines with character that satisfy even the most demanding connoisseurs. They are the product of vines that grow in excellent locations in the hinterland of Izola, already known during the Venetian Republic as the most fertile in Izola. Even today, the Zaro family respects natural resources and revives the tradition of viticulture. ☺️
Matej Zaro is currently a representative of the 3rd generation, their land covers approx. 20 ha of vineyards and 3 ha of olive groves, you can imagine that they have no shortage of work. Most of the wines are produced from indigenous varieties – Refoška, Malvasia, Negratenera.
They follow ecological principles, all their vineyards face the sea, and their highest point conjures up a truly wonderful experience, where they offer a wine tasting with snacks and a truly enchanting sunset with a view of Izola.🌅

They also added accommodation to the offer, namely 5 modernly equipped apartments.
To complete the story, the Zaro family runs the Manzioli Wine Bar in the center of Izola, where you can enjoy tasting wines and cold meats in the streets of Izola.🍷🍽
