Bamboo Restavracija & Bar

Most of you probably hang out on Trubarjeva, which at least used to be one of the liveliest streets in the center of Ljubljana. Well, then you will probably also remember a popular bar Centralna postaja.

Instead of the Central Station, this place has been home to the Bamboo bar and restaurant for the past year, which first brought Japanese cuisine to the city, as well as original cocktails and delicious wines, so they recently added quite a few new dishes and thus diversified the offer, which is now focused more on “food sharing”, and their brunches are also new!
The interior of the restaurant is excellent, at least for maximum taste! A real urban oasis – the amount of greenery stands out, as well as natural, sustainable materials such as wood and bamboo.

Their offer is interesting, different and they think it will appeal to both a little younger and those who are looking for “maturity” in restaurants. To begin with, they offer a variety of tapas (tempura shrimp, beef tartare, tuna carpaccio, crispy salmon, etc.) – Bamboo thinks that it will also impress those who love sushi, so we have not taken care of those who are the biggest sushi fans. – you can find quite a few interesting things among the main dishes.

NEW – brunches!
In the morning, they now offer brunches, where the popular eggs benedict is not missing – but we were most impressed by the breaded schnita and “croque madame”. We also do not think the prices are excessive compared to the competition.
